    The Leica SL3-S is a cutting-edge camera that delivers exceptional image quality, speed, and reliability. Designed for professionals, it integrates state-of-the-art technology with an iconic design and new features to ensure a seamless workflow for audiovisual content production.

    At its core is a 24MP BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with multi-shot modes (48MP and 96MP) and an advanced autofocus system combining phase detection (PDAF), object detection, and contrast detection. Protected by a robust IP54-certified body, the SL3-S achieves up to 30 fps continuous shooting and an ISO range of 50 to 200,000, making it Leica’s fastest and most versatile camera to date.

    For videographers, the SL3-S offers 6K video recording, 3:2 open-gate functionality, HDMI-RAW output, and ProRes 4:2:2 HQ internal recording with no time limits. A USB-C interface enables direct recording to external SSDs, and professional synchronization tools like a dedicated timecode interface ensure precise audio and video alignment.

    The SL3-S is also the first Leica camera with Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) technology, allowing tamper-proof metadata for each image, ensuring transparency and authenticity.

    Connectivity is seamless with CFexpress, UHS-II SD card slots, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi with MIMO technology. It integrates effortlessly with the Leica FOTOS app, Apple devices, and Adobe frame.io for Camera-to-Cloud functionality (available in 2025).

    Featuring Leica’s L-Mount, the SL3-S is compatible with a wide range of lenses, including Leica M-Lenses, which benefit from its 5-stop image stabilization. Its EyeRes® viewfinder with 5.76M pixels and a tilting 3.2-inch high-res touchscreen provides precise control and flexibility.

    The ergonomic design has been refined for comfort and ease of use, with assignable FN buttons, an intuitive interface, and tailored Cine mode for video professionals. Compact, lightweight, and compatible with existing SL3 accessories, the SL3-S sets a new standard in hybrid photography and videography.
